Thought Eater

Do you grow to be a MAN,
to extinguish life by your hand?
Perpetual self-dilution,
fabricated thoughts in your head.
Seek and you shall find
the darkest of demons.
Hide and seek all night
in the blackest of deep pits.
Calculating all the bones that you've been hiding.
Numbering the scars on your limbs that you've carved in.
Dragging ones mind through the mud of the earth.
Continue on, you're planning your own damn murder
You tell yourself lies...
...convinced you're the problem
I know we're all, we're all searching for something.
Is this life really worth contending.
Do we accept, we accept that its fruitless?
...in the age of the des/per/ate?
I know we're all, we're all searching for something.
Is this life really worth contending.
Do we accept that its fruitless?
We've accepted it, fruitless
There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery.
employed violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.
Therefore the land mourns,
And everyone who lives in it languishes... (Hosea 4:2a)
Like; The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy... (John 10:10)
Dwell only in your own mind
and be consumed by the world.

Bad Omen

We worship the weakest of earthly gods.
Confided by no Restrictions
undefined by our actions.
Bred to believe we create our own destiny...
What a abhorrent thought, a condemning fallacy.
Yet, we build up false idols
Beckoning destruction.
The sacrifices have been made.
We're limiting progress!
Spinning in circles, burning a hole right through the earth.
Follow blind leaders with no question of intent.
They'll drain our fortunes till our buyback is spent.
We sell our souls to profit "freedom" while bowing knee to foreign gods.
With Cash as the new king,
We bury our brothers in the dirt.
Therein lies the problem.
God rest all future souls
Because we sold ours

Burdening
02:46
|

I came to wash by the river
With bloodstains on my face.
It must have looked like murder
But it's all just relative.
Every saint has been a sinner for a time.
And I justify my own sin,
Denying it three times.
I've taken from the plate the bread that symbolizes flesh
We drank the cup in vein
And lead our flock to certain death
Dare I bare my own cross?
I've got my calloused conscience and I'm at the precipice.
Contemplating what's burdening me.
I can't seem to make it to the sunny side of the street.
Riddled with self pollution.
I succumb to the poison of the world.
I'm just another fallen sheep
I beg your forgiveness

Grab your coat and grab your hat
Leave your worries on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
On the sunny side of the street
Can't you hear that pitter-pat there?
That happy tune is your step
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street
I used to walk in the shade
With those blues on parade
But I'm not afraid baby
My rover, crossed over
If I never have a cent
I'll be rich as Rockefeller
With gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street

Regret/Repent

Plant the flag of ownership, to take what was not mine
Weakness of mind lit forbidden fires.
Green eyes fixed on her flesh to pass the time.
Continued satisfaction of selfish desires, blackened pure of heart. X2
And I'll be the first to admit.
Just as dogs devour their own,
so have I consumed the daughters of the world. X2
Hemorrhaged lustful thoughts,
Bring forth calloused conscience.
How does one extinguish thirst?
This was never my desire. X2
It's become second nature!
I'm not the only one to bear teeth
Let's just talk about them, never me
I give up my right to live my own life.
I Have long been controlled by the flesh.
I claim a serpent's spine constricts my neck.
Wrenching forward into darkness.
But I am the only one who regrets
The snake does not exist

Abandon the notion.
Skin deep social standards,
sundered spirits seek
Confessions hung on closet doors.
Bleeding truth from out our arms.
Desperate measures,
no ones buying anymore.
We've all got an original thought,
buried deep within our hearts
Severely convoluted!
It's become diluted!
The lights are off no ones around.
Rags to riches, dressed in black.
Keep it all bottled up nice
Keep it all bottled up nice
Conversations with tongues tied.
Freedom of speech, but they all lied.
